Vinaja Yarn Spinning Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. is a cooperative program in manufacturing Olyset net between Minh Hung Group and Sumitomo Chemical Corp. Olyset net is a mosquitocidal net which is manufactured by following the unique technology of Sumitomo and in the purpose of exporting to WHO.
The date of starting the factory's building was in the November of 2005. Whithin 5 months of building, in the April of 2006, the factory was built completely and was held a Opening Ceremony to mark the first container to be exported.
Vinaja factory is built in the area of 15.000m2, with the total capital investment of 6 million USD, attracting about 1.400 workers. Each year, the factory manufactures 6 million of Olyset net, exports to other countries in the Africa and Eastern Europe. The product's processing is following the closed processing line includes all steps from the step “mixing of resin” to the step “threading, weaving and sewing”.
In order to perform this process, the factory is divided into different stages such as:
- Firstly is the mixing of resin stage: Through the mixing of resin by Kawata machine, the HDPE resin will be mixed together with Chemical Olyset which has been determined the color in order to produce those combined SUMILIFE plastics that has high purity level. Those plastics will be transferred to the threading workshop: applying the threading technology to soak the Permethrin into HDPE. From the combined SUMILIFE plastics, each threading machine will produce 150 fibre to make the bobbins, then to create the fibre beams. Those beams will be moved to the weaving workshop: applying the weaving technology by Raschel machine, later, the finished cloths are moved to the sewing workshop. At this workshop, the sewing stage is done and the finished goods will be packaged.
The factory is equipped a high standard LAB room which meets the international standard, the LAB room is used to test the quality of input resin, chemical and physical characteristics of the finished goods.
With the criteria from the first days of establishment: "Human resource is the basic foundation, the technology is the motivation to develop". The factory is always invested in modern equipments and machineries and always is creative in producing high quality products at the lowest cost. Therefore, in November of 2006, the factory was very honor to receive the reward of "The best Global Olyset Factory of 2006". Until 6/2007, the factory is seen as the most productive factory with 6 million products per year according to the WHO's standard. In September of 2007, the factory was honorable once again to receive the reward "The factory that has high advanced technology and most stable production capacity". Those rewards are big motivations in order to motivate the whole staffs and workers of VINAJA factory to continue striving for better results at the present and in the future.
In February of 2009, VINAJA factory is considered as the most effective manufacturing factory in the world for Olyset Net product. With the development and successfulness, resulting in the sales volume of Olyset net has increased strongly, Sumitomo Corp. and Minh Hung Group have signed the contract of increasing the production's capacity of Olyset Net by 12 million products per year.
In April of 2009, the second factory is built in the area of 35.000m2 with the capital investment is 14 million in USD and the total volume of exporting nets has reached 18 million products per year.
Olyset’s mosquitocidal net is manufactured by Minh Hung Group-VN, this creates the great opportunity in settling stable jobs for 3200 staffs and contributes nearly 90 million USD/year in term of exporting.
It is not only bringing the working's value and foreign currency's turnover; more than that, Olyset net is also bringing a value of human: “Protect the human's health” and has reduced the number of patients of Malaria and Petechial Fever.
